A Cry for Help
Gentle readers, welcome to my nightmare. I call it my living room.

These are only a few of the photos - but you get the idea. There is an insane amount of clutter and I think I'm finally throwing in the white flag. I can't keep on top of it anymore - and we're all responsible. There are piles of books, toys, and just general crap laying around the house and I've gotten to a point where I just want to cry rather than deal with it. So I'm turning to you - you see this madness. Any suggestions on getting it whittled down?
I am a reforming packrat, I am not above tossing things out - I just want to have some discrimination when I do it. I've got a lot of kids' toys, but I can't just throw them all out and start from scratch (and yes, I know Christmas is coming - trust me, that's filling me with more dread right now). Honest, good ideas will be appreciated. Storage solutions, decorating solutions, you name it - I'm listening. Help!
